- SpaceX IPO has been one of the worst ever starts for a major stock, dropping $1 trillion in value in just a few weeks.
- Google’s cash flow has turned negative for the first time ever because of spending on generative “AI” that has yet to return any profits to either the firms that make it or the firms that have adopted it.
- More than a quarter of people in the US have an active online sports betting account.
What’s the common theme?
A scam economy, since late stage capitalism and capitalist consolidation have left fewer opportunities for capitalists to collect rents through ordinary processes like “owning a firm that makes and sells something.”

@StardustWhip if I'm looking to commission an artist, a reasonable gallery of past works has so much to show - whether I like their style & think it'd suit my ideas, am I thinking of something they'd be kinda ok with
and in these times, a long lived gallery can even be decent proof you're dealing with an artist producing their own work

@StardustWhip you're posting art into the collective stream of consciousness & don't have an archive? like a gallery page where we can see what you drew last month?
posting at the mercy of hoping people see your art as it flashes by

@Owlor yeah, I like a good ipa but if I'm out for more than a couple of beers, I want something more moderate that's not gonna drop me in 2 pints
Scanning the beer aisles in Asda & some of these sound lush, but I'm not in a 7% mood
I know IPAs get strong but sometimes it's "calm down lads, I want a normal beer for a normal person"

replacing a password I could use for a website at any time with "you better not lose your phone"
I've yet to see anything in passing about advantages, it's another "please use this now" instruction from a shitty industry
