To me, putting human art on FurAffinity is like being an indie developer who releases a very high quality immersion sim where all you do is try to find work and not let existential crises stop you from functioning.

I mean, I'm sure you did a great job and it's awesome that you created something, but I'm here for the fantasy stuff and if I wanted the real thing I'd just go outside.

Every time I see art that's exclusively humans on FurAffinity I'm like "???" because I never fully understood the point of "let's put the not-furry thing on the site that caters to furries"

Like, sure, you do you. But why though?

Thinking back to high-school when an obnoxious bully was pestering @vikxin and she responded by pushing said bully away, who fell backwards into a trashcan (said bully honestly deserved worse)

Then another classmate walked in, the one that had been single-handedly responsible for setting up the school's recycling program. He took one look at the bully, pointed, and said "That could be recycled."

I like Firefox but after maybe the 10th pop-up pointing out some tool thing I don't need (fairly fresh OS install on this laptop), I think browsers in general need to stop trying to add so many /features/

Split view, vertical tab, tab categories, embedded VPN, generative hype train!

Just let me browse websites and be able to use an adblocker and tabs, stop trying to turn this into a desktop environment, it's a /web browser/

By the way this isn't me asking /what/ it is, since I already know. My issue is that the websites are treating this like snake oil and being like "It just works!" without giving me any information. I tend not to trust offers like that if it's basically "No really it works, believe me "

I'd probably be more willing to pay attention to the offers of "do a passkey" if the various websites actually took a moment to explain what that is, versus just saying "wow it's so secure! seriously you won't regret it"
