owning a BYD EV here in Australia, 80% of my charging is at home, just plug in to a wall socket powered by mostly solar from my roof. 15% is destination charging eg when buying groceries, plug in, shop, unplug and go and only 5% is charging on a road trip.

I really hope there will one day be a solution for people who don’t own detached houses.

In the UK they’re installing chargers in the lamp posts, in Germany they’re installing them in the curbs. There are solutions slowly making their way out there.
