Incise now supports Activity Intents (as described in FEP-3b86, https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fep/src/branch/main/fep/3b86/fep-3b86.md)
These are displayed in the UI as well for users from remote servers on the individual posts where actions for logged in users would be typically shown.
Pardon the improper layout on mobile
An error on my part caused incorrect alt descriptions (post title) to be included for image attachments for ActivityPub feeds. This has been fixed.
@julian Appreciate the shout-out, Julian 🫶🏽

And with this, I'm feature freezing new developments.
The focus now is solely on improving the UI, lots of rough edges everywhere! It has a good foundation, and needs to be refined continuously.
I've been working all day today improving, fixing, and enhancing the comments system in Incise.
- Comments are now correctly listed for #ActivityPub fetches
- Comments are now likable from the web UI as well as through #ActivityPub
- Comment replies are now #federated as well
- Comments by remote actors (eg. Mastodon users) liked by Incise users are now #federated
An example of the last point, this comment by @Viditb on @dezinezync's post: https://mastodon.social/@Viditb/115960081954678201/favourites
mastodon.social/@Viditb/115960081954678201/favouritesBoosts (Announce activity) are now handled as expected and boost counts are displayed under posts and on the post detail page as well.

Both alt-text and blurhash is now implemented for posts on Incise! This completes my ActivityPub (+ Mastodon) support for Beta and v1 release.
More in the works!
If you face errors during signup related to WebAuth or Passkeys,
The following workaround works:
when you’re prompted to setup the passkey, click on change, then click on iPhone, iPad or Android device, and continue with your iPhone/Android device instead.
Me links for verification/attestation is now available under profile settings.
Avatars have also been migrated to the new storage. Here's an example of me links verification for Mastodon

RSS feeds for tags is now available.
Additionally, JSON feeds for user posts is now also enabled.
I'll add “RSS icons" to these webpages to make these discoverable by humans as well.
@csilverman 100% agree! With JSON feed support, it’s super easy to integrate into your web pages.

Tag specific feeds are also enabled now.
I'm curious if RSS feeds for the same are in demand? Let me know
I've deployed additional improvements to the interface, and also enabled the "Work Inquiry” button on profiles for authenticated and normal sessions.
Clicking on the button directly opens the email interface on your system, no web forms to meddle with.
You can control this from your profile settings.
I've had the redesigned layout for comments ready to go for a while now, but never got down to actually implementing it until today! This is now live 🤘🏼
Over the weekend, I've finished a long due migration for images on Incise.
Incise now no longer depends on external proxies for smaller sized images. These are generated in browser, and uploaded during the post process.
I'll be validating live federation shortly. There are some QoL changes in here as well and the post type (Branding, Mobile, Desktop, Illustration, etc...) filtering is also enabled now.
I've deployed some browser specific CSS tweaks which should fix the buttons face issue in Firefox.
I've also removed the CDN dependency on CloudFront, and the site now uses CloudFront to handle caching and acceleration as needed.
