@silverpill are there plans to be able to limit who can post to groups and visibility (group only, instance only, stuff like that) just to have like an internal group for the instance for example. and pinned posts to groups. what do you see groups functioning as, what is your vision? cuz it's just a word groups so i think different people would want to work it differently and i wonder what you want it to be like in mitra and as a FEP or whatever

@meso Yes, I plan to implement private groups where only members can create posts. One idea I had is a group for mitra admins where we can discuss new features. Idk what else, this is a building block, maybe people will create alt frontends that work as forums or chat apps.

@meso There are many interesting apps being built that are based on federated groups, I want to make mitra compatible with them. For example this matrix bridge: https://github.com/Haven-Organization/matrix-appservice-activitypub
