@a1ba I dunno. I think it's not that bad on games with realistic faces (I've watched some videos), but seems that it has a VERY bad effect on anime games lol

@a1ba It's not like all developers use UE. There are many other engines either own created or new.

@ZySoua @a1ba totally optional function that you can switch to another competing totally optional function that will look and perform worse, or turn off entirely (which nowadays tends to only be possible through some hacks and nasty config edits) just to discover that a totally optional function somehow became a vital part of the modern rendering pipelines, with entire games and game engines specifically tuned for it the same way NES-era games were designed for CRT TVs.
The very moment when whatever the hell dlss5 is doing will become such an optional function, those who either want it off or can't afford to have it on would be the first to get royally screwed
