Seeing @matthew of @matrix talk about how Beeper is now such a prominent player in the ecosystem these days. We all keep going over the history again and again of the failure of @xmpp's federation with the centralized providers and thinking about how we can work to promote inter-protocol community building.

I am inspired by the approaches taken by @wafrn (thanks a lot to @gabboman) in fediverse native multi protocol social media. But I think there are a plurality of aproches that can and should be taken.

And the presentation of https://divine.video (by @rabble) in supporting ActivityPub and ATProto *thru* Nostr.

Everyone points to https://brid.gy, which is great, but only one if the many approaches to bridging protocols. We need to look at how many more bridges can flourish in in our ecosyatems.

@liaizon #Bridgy is the incumbent on the #ActivityPub / #ATProto bridging front, and currently the only "production grade" system available to te general user, right ?

@becha is bridging social platforms / protocols relevant to BattleMesh? I thought it was about wireless meshing protocols and LoRA type stuff?
