Nobody needs to hear this, but…

The "star" key on a telephone is actually represented by a sextile ⚹ according to ITU recommendation E.161

Many smartphone dialers get this wrong and use an asterisk *, full-width asterisk *, or asterisk operator ∗

But my 2004 Nokia has an asterisk, but my 2014 Dect handset and Sony Ericsson slider have a sextile.

The Nokia inside keyboard has no asterisk, but has a five point star. The QWERTY English version has no ^, but the QWERTZ German has.
