I'll never understand why anyone would put so much stickers on their laptop that they overlap each other. Even a laptop full of stickers is already way too much. It looks like a shitty graffiti in a city ghetto.

@lain @Phobos @mischievoustomato The problem is those nationalities can be good workers in other parts of the world, but the people from those nationalities coming to Europe are the lowest of the low when it comes either to morale or manners. The stuff they do here, they would be hanged in their home country.

The point isn't getting skilled workers with ethics. If it was the case, the current problems would barely exist.

@lain @harblinger Qwen built me a rather sophisticated web scraper last year. Here's the csv format, here's a response you parse to scrape the data and it just did it first try.

No wonder there are so many scrapers going around on git forges from China when their models just go at it no questions asked.

@silverpill Re Versia Unfollow: I think one of the big mistakes of AS2/AP/AV was using generic Activity names for almost everything. The only types that don't have issues is those that embed Objects in them and Add/Remove which explicitly operates on Collections only.

But things like Follow... Follow what? A user, a context URL for following threads? Interpret it however you want, have fun. The distinction between Objects and Activities isn't even necessary when you stop doing this generic approach. Not like Activities aren't "special" Objects anyway.
