@randomvangloboii in the early 2000s, the focus was on making things more user-friendly
now we've gone past user agnostic to user hostile

In the 2000s technology was exciting because it told you "You can now do more with me, Imma let you express yourself like never before"
Now it's scary because it tells you "You're too stupid to do it, let me do it for you, *I* know what you want or need"

@cstross it'd be great if it could get the go-ahead at a good price, especially if they added a single north england stop

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE HEALING POWER OF THE RECKLESSLY LOUD MUSIC IN YOUR HEADPHONES!
SO LOUD THAT YOU CANT HEAR YOURSELF THINK!
DANCE AND SING YOUR WAY THROUGH THE SUPERMARKET AS IF NOBODY ELSE MATTERS! BECAUSE THEY DONT!
BLAST THE HEAD DEMONS AWAY WITH ENOUGH SOUND PRESSURE TO BURST THEIR EYEBALLS!
the classic office discussion:
what are you working on?
nothing useful.
same.

Thinking back to high-school when an obnoxious bully was pestering @vikxin and she responded by pushing said bully away, who fell backwards into a trashcan (said bully honestly deserved worse)
Then another classmate walked in, the one that had been single-handedly responsible for setting up the school's recycling program. He took one look at the bully, pointed, and said "That could be recycled."
Fun times :3

Anyone have a field in a UK dark sky area that I can leave a shipping container in?
Ideally around hay-on-wye or something like that.
It's a non permanent structure, but if you happen to have 16A power and a water supply even better.
