The suggestion at the end of this might be a viable option.

Use application, 'testdisk' to analyze without writing any changes. If it can detect the lost exfat tables then it can be recovered. I have done this with multiple failed media and drives. Be sure to read the documentation carefully before running it.

Exfat writes a backup boot region. Testdisk should be able to check for this.

If that doesn't work there is ddrescue and photorec for finding and recovering individual files.

You might also use 'dd' to raw copy the damaged volume to an image file and write that image file to other external media then try running 'testdisk' and other tools on the copy. You can keep the image file as a backup as you try to recover the data from a copy first, to avoid the risk of further damage to the card.

I made a X account awhile back.

Within hours I have dozens and dozens of spam accounts following me.

I reported many of them.

Twitter / X staff responded that none of them were in violation of the TOS.

They were almost all jailbait young female picture accounts, pushing taglines about how much they were interested in me. Obvious malicious spam.

I logged out for like a year or more.

I logged in again recently and they tried to sell me on a paid account and 'get verified' when I hadn't even been able to use the service. Gag.

Avoiding X is easy.

Since I'm on Debian the python3 version is not recent enough to install the pip package. This is why I am annoyed by versioning and fragmentation in the Linux ecosystem. Recent versions should be backwards compatible, especially with the same base version number.

I'm not surprised. Python devs instantly obsoleted billions and billions of lines of Python2.7 code with their sunset to v3. This is why I stopped programming in Python altogether.
