@cell it's not a monopoly but it is puzzling how much people sing the praises of steam when it's literally all the things that people hate about all the other proprietary drm'd services, too (except that the client doesn't suck as much).

@lain @cell does the steam client also 'scan' your whole filesystem indiscriminately?
