@lain @cell i'm so tired of people not understanding what a monopoly is. It isn't simply your marketshare... it's if you also do anti-competitive behavior that allows you to keep your majority marketshare

@lain @cell they make good games, they dont push LGBT bullshit, they dont push anti-whiteism, Steam is a decent launcher, they are very helpful with account recovery and support in general, they have very nice discounts many times a year, they never have any issue with you installing your games in multiple computers, across countries or whatever you wanna do, they make it so that you can also easily publish your own games if you want, what is there not to like?

Also they dont do kernel level anti-cheat bullshit

Also you can pirate games while having Steam and they wont try to analize your computer and mess with your pirated games, you can literally add your pirated games to steam as a "non-steam game" and benefit from their controller mapping technology and others.
