I don’t blame the teachers, I blame the system. I know too many teachers who have been yelled at by admin for daring to teach in a way the kids can learn because it’s “not what you’re supposed to teach, stick to the curriculum.”

Yup same. Then a few phones went missing, parents threatened to sue because cell phones were insanely expensive back then, and the school told teachers they couldn’t do that anymore. 🤷♀️

I wont lie, a good budget saved my ass. That being said, not enough income can’t be fixed by a budget but it might help you find where you can trim your finances.

Yeah mine is a medication side effect so that’s been fun to navigate. But honestly I find it better than my previous issue of eating constantly all the time and feeling like I had no control over it. Turns out I was dopamine seeking. Ugh ADHD lol.

I tried Kagi for a month. It was decent. For $5 and only 300 searches I felt limited. I’m not saying I was limited, I felt that way. I found myself going to other search engines for some searches.
I liked ecosia for awhile but I’ve had to turn off the AI multiple times. I have no idea why it keeps turning back on, so that’s why I stopped. Start page was ok. I’m currently using SearX Paulgo and it seems decent.

The river that’s responsible for well over half of the food grown in the US that’s already seeing record low water? That river? Jesus fuck the entitlement and greed never fucking ends.

My brain went a whole direction with “pudding caps.” I had no idea that’s what you called them.

Depends on the game type you’re looking for. Ive enjoyed playing stardew valley with my friends. You can play side by side in person if you connect an extra controller. Alternately, if they go home and also have the game installed you can play internet coop from afar as well with the same save and same profile.

Oh that’s great to know. I have hardly used mine.

I left PlayStation after the 3 for Xbox. Then I left Xbox for steam. 🤷♀️

I was the only person I knew at the time with 2000. Everyone was either holding on to 98 because millennium sucked out when xp came they went right to that.
Not who you asked but I’ve played Sims 2 and 4, stardew valley, Minecraft, grounded, Ark, Alice Madness returns, and something I’m blanking on right now. I’ve only had linux mint installed for 3 months now so I’m sure I’ll try more games. I’ve had no issues. Well, I used issues with extras for as 2 but that was a simple, I didn’t read directions lol.

I’ve also only booted mine twice. Both times because apparently you can’t update an Xbox controller from anywhere but windows or an Xbox and all I wanted was to Bluetooth connect my controller to linux so I could get an extra cabin in stardew valley 🤣

Absolutely disgusting. Not that they didn’t use this as pure racism during the expansions of major interstates through major cities. It’s not new. It’s just disgusting when it happens.

Not patreon style but etsy style, I have hope for Mayhem Marketplace. There’s also a POC run marketplace that’s supposed to be co-op but I haven’t seen anything on it recently and can’t remember the name.

As someone who also regularly prefers to be alone, I don’t think you’re strange. That being said, I’ve forced myself over the years to interact with people. The ones who don’t annoy me, become friends. We may not see each other often, but we’re always there for each other when I counts.
It helps for me getting diagnosed ADHD and my doctor said probably autistic but there was no way in hell she was writing that down in this political climate. Turns out like 80% of my friends are also neurodivergent. They absolutely understand the preference for silence and being alone.
I’m not saying you need to make friends. But it might be worth a try. It’s not either or, you don’t have to go to loud parties every night and talk to every person or stay at home and talk to no one. You can go to the library and tell someone that’s a good book theyre reading and maybe you guys discuss it and become friends and maybe you don’t.
There’s so many ways to be a human. And they change and evolve through your entire life. Who you are today is probably not the same as 5 years ago you or 5 years from now you. Give yourself permission to try new things even if you don’t think you like them, it may surprise you.
