a multi-million dollar development budget. about 4000 contributors every year working on and maintaining over 40 million lines of code. ~ 15 percent is part of the ‘core’ kernel. ~ 60 percent is drivers that would need to be tracked, maintained and worked on.

might need more than a few ‘agents’ to keep up.
