Side of slop? Bizarre AI food images jump from online to IRL menus

If I see AI generated images on Google Maps, Yelp, Online Websites, menus, etc I immediately pass on the restaurant. I have no idea what restaurants think showing fake images of food is going to convey to it’s customers but if they can’t get photos right then they probably can’t get proper food storage and handling correct either.

I don’t see why not when fast food places are allowed to use product images of plastic food on their menus.

I thought the rule was that it has to be at least the same components. Like mcdonalds images are super styled, but all the things on the picture are at least present pn your burger.
