Empire has always entertained itself with trivialities while murdering people abroad. It’s a major foundation of “technology” in USA, although not nearly as important as the MIC.

Why bother with banality when you’ve got technology?

Apparently, it’s the one entity that can make Nintendo furious without actually getting destroyed by them or even sued by them necessarily. And this is more offensive than pretty much anything Nintendo’s gone after before. Yet they repeatedly crossed that line.
