Folks, I'm begging you.

Don't make autistic people in public areas listen to your device's noise. It's bad enough at volume when you can hear everything going on but the skzt-skzt-skzt of a low volume can become meltdown worthy. It can't be tuned out and it's rude as hell to force other people to listen to your noise.

Use earbuds or ear phones in public. Don't be a fucking asshole.

@ruemaleficent Adding blind people into this as well. Don't want to hear your shit.
I go around with airpods in when I'm out for two reasons. 1, dynamic noise adjustment, it makes background noise way more tolerable.
And 2, because that's how I interact with my phone. I use VoiceOver (the iOS screen-reader) so the last thing I want to do is have it blaring out on speaker, being *exactly* one of the kind of people I utterly loathe.
