But comments on Lemmy can be. You’re welcome to not agree, but don’t act high and mighty just because you have your own opinion that doesn’t match the majority.
Just because you’re upset doesn’t mean you’re right.
No, it does mean I’m right. Drugs aren’t funny. Period. End of story. Lose two of you’re best friends to something you are powerless to stop and then just sit back and watch them end their lives.
You lost your friends to addiction, not drugs. Addiction isn’t funny and is a very serious topic, but plenty of people have a healthier relationship with drugs, and joking about that sort of consumption is fine.
Like are we not allowed to make jokes about drinking because there are alcoholics out there?
Dude, talking with your best interests in mind, log off Lemmy and go talk to a therapist. Arguing with strangers on the internet is harmful to your mental health and absolutely not worth it. Specially about a close and personal topic. You will not change any minds and will just feel awful afterwards. I send you a hug and hope you can feel better now that a day has passed from these horrible combos.
No, drugs aren’t funny to you. Different people find different things funny. Most people are not traumatized by drugs and can laugh about them. You should have learned to distinguish between your emotions and other people’s emotions when you were 5.
Where’s the line that turns me into an absolute piece of shit? Not all drugs are addictive and not all drugs will kill you. Am I a bad person if I joke about weed? Caffeine?
What a class act you are. If your parents are still speaking with you, maybe go ask them what went wrong. See if you can find out why you turned out this way.
Lol different strokes I suppose; I can get behind the individual pieces (meth aside), but the thought of ketamine + stimulants sounds like mixing shrooms + red wine & xanax.
One part to turn the brain off, and a second part to fill that empty head back up with chaotic bad ideas best not acted on.
You’ll definitely get fucked up if that’s the goal, but they produce two very different vibes that pull in opposite directions.
I’m going off wikipedia for that, which seems to suggest the usual formula is ket + mdma + street “coke” — but with that “coke” being the usual adulterated mix of 5-10% real cocaine heavily cut down by levamisole, caffeine, meth, lidocaine, and inert filler. (Street mdma and ket are often cut with some of those too but hard to say how much they’re contributing.)
there is no official, exact formula for what constitutes “tusi,” but its basic ingredients include MDMA and ketamine, and sometimes LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin as well
This is bundling more drugs together into one bucket than the DARE program. And funny enough none of the drugs they have named here are physically addictive.
Fair enough, I always thought of ketamine as a downer so it’d go against the rule of “don’t mix uppers and downers” but I guess it doesn’t fuck with your heart rate like downers.
I reported a few accounts that were advertising the sale of CSAM and they didn’t do anything with the info. Had to delete the app and haven’t been back since 2024.
I reported one saying “we have the best cheese pizza” or something with a video of a little girl walking around, reported it and I was told it doesn’t violate their guidelines. Such bs
It really is. I used to send tons of reports bc that platform was a cesspool for a while. My experience was pretty much the exact same as yours and that was back when they still used human moderation.
A few years ago I made a Facebook post jokingly pointing out how the ads on Facebook include ads for fake rolexes and illegal drugs (including a screenshot of the ads) and Facebook took down my post on the stated grounds that I was violating someone’s trademark.
