Check the accounts profile. It heavily advertises services for LLM adbots covertly advertising on social media. I think you’re right, it’s either an LLM adbot or someone who outsources all of their comments and posts to LLM to craft while trying to drum up interest for their website.

I have upvoted quite a few posts from this user and feel a bit duped, so it’d be nice to know for the future. I also chat about politics on here a bit and am 90% a bunch of accounts over there are bots, so it’d help me not waste time there too.

The sad thing is that the families of teenagers which killed themselves after encouraged by their chatbot might not see a cent of compensation. I would feel better if they were paid from the personal possessions of the ex managers.

The whole “ai” industry is as uninsurable as nuclear power. Maybe that’s why they are so wild after software generation: Software is still in many cases exempt from liability, as long as it is not a Boeing 737 Max that your buggy code crashes.

737 Max is not really about software, but Boeing not willing to instlall a proper back up sensor for a flight critical controller…

Its more about a corporations cutting costs at expense of safety more so then dodgy software…not that software could not have been better…
