Would be pretty cool if we could build a crowdsourced network of these that do basically exactly what flock does, but just to keep a constantly updated public database of the location of all cop cars, hopefully with the ability to associate cars to specific officers with names, photos and badge numbers.

We could call them “drove cameras.” A drove is a term that refers to a group of pigs.

You know what, this could work because we have a private jet locator for everyone who’s flying a private jet. Why not the police cars? What because it would be a violation of public safety, well maybe that case can be used against flock now.

The police are worried about their data and have the authority to shut down a private citizens user-based, license plate reader, specifically because of the data usage going to fuck knows where. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THE COMMON MAN WAS WORRIED ABOUT WITH FLOCK!!!

Now you tell me when that becomes more important for the pigs to have their data protected. A majority of them already made it so that public scanners can no longer access the police scanners. They’ve taken away a facet of public safety by removing scanning for them, so if you wanted to get away with it; You can possibly make this into an app and say it’s for, “public safety.”
