Sony locks the wireless stack to their own peripherals, so your headphones or controllers from other brands simply won’t pair :/
My PS5 pairs with third-party headsets and controllers without any issues, what are they talking about?
The PS5 controller works really well on Bazzite, fwiw. I also used an old PS3 controller with MacOS, iPads and Fedora.

I use it for emulators and some side scrollers on my laptop running CachyOS. Works beautifully.
