@volpeon

@volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip frag mich, wie es ausgegangen ist :)

@volpeon I might be a little harsh here, but that's not funny (to me). It's a living breathing being in distress. I'm sorry for the kitty, and instead of filming the whole thing, someone should have helped the animal.

@fedithom @volpeon
The kitty probably was not invited to go where it is and it could easily drop the bag. Not only that it then would be able to see where to jump, the bag also would have been accessible on the floor. The second part (accessible bag on the floor) might have been not be foreseeable for this cat, other cats would be able to come to that conclusion, as this cat might be, too. To rescue the cat early would steal a moment to learn from experience.

@volpeon cat got the treats but can't see 😅

@volpeon
This wins my TL for the week, probably

@volpeon we know the feeling... #dogsofmastodon

@volpeon south indian monkey trap!

@volpeon this feels like a godsdamn fable which would be called shit like The Cat and The Bag

@16af93 @volpeon

The original version was called “The Boy and the Filberts”:

https://americanliterature.com/author/aesop/short-story/the-boy-and-the-filberts

@volpeon did they let go eventually or did they take a leap of faith?

@volpeon
cannot leave yet cannot stay

@volpeon “Nuts. I didn’t actually think I’d get this far.” Cat, probably.

@volpeon how did it resolve the dilemma? (hopefully it's not still there with the bag?)

@lioness @volpeon
Haha I actually wanted to make the joke "Some say, the cat is still there on that shelf, a cautionary tale for the rest of us"

@volpeon that is the reason why greed is a death sin in the Bible. Here Too much greed will lead to your death of hunger.

@volpeon @Geisseltierchen 🙈😂😂

@volpeon It's greed is sickening.
