@brettm I recently went through a folder and changed all the spaces to underscores because I didn't feel like trying to work around spaces not playing nicely with the wildcard command in Make

@brettm@swarm.coiloptic.org Despite file systems supporting it trivially there are still many good reasons to avoid it.
For example using any Bash command on a file that has whitespace in the filename you have to escape the whitespace.
For example for deleting a file instead of just rm filename you have to either rm "file name" or rm file\ name, which is annoying to type and error prone so I prefer to just avoid it.

@brettm isn't this just normal? why would I put spaces in a file name?
