Well, this discussion is abt CPUs, and Nvidia isn’t really an option their for the normal consumer market. Their CPUs are enterprise and highly specialized for AI

AMD CPUs are known for high thermals?

My 3900X is still idling at sub 40°C on average, I’d say, still after 6 years. Never changed thermal paste.

My new 9950X3D idles at sub 45–50°C or so, bought in 2025.

Is that bad? 🙃
