Liberapay now better supports donations to creators in the US.
Donors can once again choose to pay by SEPA Direct Debit, and they can now fund multiple donations with a single payment instead of having to pay each recipient separately.
However, grouped payments are currently always settled in France, so they're international even when the donor and all the recipients are in the US.

Erratum: it turns out Canada can't benefit from these improvements at this time, even though it is listed as a supported country in Stripe's documentation.
Warning: these changes have unintentionally triggered direct debits for donations that had been in limbo since that payment method was restricted to European recipients. Sadly we can't cancel direct debits, as Stripe only gives us the option to refund them after they've been settled.
