Lotta conflating things here, but I think I’d be pretty pleased if I heard the local Amazon distro centers were destroyed overnight somehow. I’ve seen how companies like Amazon and Walmart have utterly ravaged the local economies and gobbled up opportunities for a larger variety of entry level work that could feasibly turn into paths upward for social mobility, absolutely wiped out by large corporate bullshit.

I don’t think the people working as cogs in that awful machine deserve harm, though. They’re not the ones making the decisions to destroy our economy, they’re just forced into aiding it by the lack of opportunities elsewhere, a problem created by those large corporations.

But I also have no interest in interacting with the war in Ukraine like a spectator sport. I have no say in any of it and I’m barely impacted by it. I could have opinions, sure, but opinions are like assholes.

My personal job? That would be bad. There’s some bad people here but there’s also some good. And I take pride in my personal work because I think it does something important and useful. But we’re also not going to be anyone’s target in economic warfare.

You have to understand that the people behind this made up line are evil, and we are not. To make it more believable we are filling your screens with propaganda - a gruesome mix of true and invented atrocities the enemy is committing! They eat babies! They torture grandmas! And of course they started, we didn’t! So now we can do the same! /s

I can’t believe people are still falling for this shit. Every empire is evil and I wish they’d just run out of steam and shut up so we normal people can continue with growing our gardens.
