@volpeon I mean, not much considering that the device you're displaying on likely barely displays more than sRGB anyways, so anything authored on it is not going to use any of the wide gamut (even 16-bit sRGB (presumably what you're using) is overkill, other than I guess maybe preventing banding in gradients since it's quantized only when displaying on-screen).

Wide-gamut color spaces is only really significant for things like photographic editing from raw source images (or 48-bit film scans with custom scanner-specific color calibration, etc.), where you have raw sensor dumps not limited to any color space, and want to preserve as much information as possible for archival (and to allow pulling the detail out of it with intermediate editing steps as well). But even then, none of that detail or wide colors will be visible on most computers or printers anyways, it's just good to have it there in case you might need to access it in editing
