@payown Congratulations on Earshoc. There is a lot here a like very much, it’s building on the Castro paradigm. I absolutely love being able to set it up so I can double-tap the episode in the Inbox and have it added to the bottom of the queue. That’s a real time saver. I purchased the lifetime subscription to show my support.
A couple of suggestions for you.
First, the show notes you get when in the inbox are very truncated, you do get more of the show notes in Castro. It would be great if this could be expanded because for an app that puts VoiceOver first, I’m not sure why we shouldn’t be able to hear the full show notes if that’s what we want to do.
Second, It would be great to select what fields are displayed in the inbox. For example, all I’m interested in is the episode title, podcast name, and description. If I could stop the date and time, whether it’s streamed when played, and duration from being verbalized, that would speed me up.
Third, I think an automatic 14-day trial is a good idea, because I imported my OPML file as part of the onboarding, and it only imported 10. I had hoped that by purchasing, I would see all my other podcasts, but I didn’t.
In terms of future features, trim silence would be great to see.
