wakest on plamenu

Weird momentary error on mobile. Not sure wtf happened

@lnkr I found another peertube account that is hosted on an IDN @lfdi_pressestelle and is federating with Plamenu. So you are right this was just that specific server being wonky

@lnkr I fully agree that the FEP as designed is really frustratingly bad. Though adding support for showing that it works even when its only working locally is also problematic. Thats what Holo did for a long time and then they continued to QP stuff from a highly followed account that no one on Mastodon could see what they were talking about.

@lnkr plamenu is picking up double images.

(this is a wordpress user)

looks like the un-punycode-ization is failing when displaying replies.
federation with https://թութ.հայ/@norayr is working otherwise tho

@lnkr its probably all PeerTube's issue tbh. Like maybe Peertube is just struggling to deal with its own IDN support.

@lnkr well mastodon unicode username support is pretty broken so thats not a good control mechanism for this one. I am able to get the instance actor to show up on my mastodon instance tho

maybe time to get @你好@i18n.viii.fi working?

@broadway_lamb @rf yes there are some now! but sadly you are on mastodon and can't follow them but here is a lemmy user: @Вежливый_Лис

cool looks like bookwyrm federation is all good now! you can even have DMs both ways with a bookwyrm user

@lnkr I think people are worried about this much more then is necessary. Like humans are really bad at this to begin with and we can already do this quite easily with normal english already and no ones adding mitigation for it. here buy a computer on https://appIe.com

oh wow I see peertube notification that I started livestreaming on plamenu yesterday! haven't ever seen this notif type!

@lnkr also note that you are on the cuttttting edge here. this shit is broken across the fediverse so you are already further along then most!

Heres another one I am not able to follow or search for.

@groeibschi@peertube.gröibschi.ch

https://peertube.gröibschi.ch/c/groeibschi/

@lnkr also in the add to list screen

@lnkr mentions and follows working but breaking down when it gets into the reply box and in the add to collections screen (probably need to figure out how to disable this ability on accounts that don't support collections anyway)

@lnkr oh hot damn! testing 123 @Аим_Нискажуя

test

@lnkr thanks for taking me on the ride! I am pretty amazed at how far plamenu is coming, and excited to keep kicking the tires (as they say)

thanks for the ride!
