Self-Host Weekly (14 August 2026)
selfh.st/weekly/2026-08-14/The SSO tax kills me. I just want to auto log into things. And my stupid password manager doesn’t respect subdomains, so it shows me 100 credentials on each site I host.
Which password manager? I had the same problem with BitWarden until I found a buried setting to tweak each password domain. Maybe there’s a badly advertised feature in yours, too?
Holy crap, they added it! I’m on 1password and hadn’t checked in a while it seems.
