Do you have an opinion on the ⁂ (asterism) for the Fedi?
It looks like Mastodon 5.0 will use the symbol:

I do agree with some of the criticism around how it doesn't look great when scaled down, but to me, it just doesn't really represent the fediverse too well.
Not all servers/communities are connected. Some servers don't know about each other, some actively block each other.
I can't say I am a huge fan of the asterism symbol when it's rendered as an actual ⁂ character.
But I do like it quite a bit when you use the right font or get playful with it.
