LOL, wanna bet?
Simple solution. Stop paying ESPN.

ESPN is (was?) a big chunk of what you pay for cable TV, too, and I don´t think you can a la carte it out. (And yes, simple solution: stop paying for cable TV.)
The post was talking about streaming, not cable TV.
Yes.
Nothing. I’ll pay nothing. ESPN has nothing I want to watch.

The reason sports and ESPN are so valuable is because demand to watch a game expires immediately when the game ends. That means ESPN can charge what it wants because it controls the feed.
Imagine a world where people were just as happy to watch an old sportsball game as they are to watch an old episode of Mad Men. ESPN would be nothing.
I was able to watch a livestream of the entire Stupid Bowl complete with their fascistic AI-slop and crypto ads last year for free.
I don’t think I’ll ever watch another Stupid Bowl again. I was only in it for the ads, but they’ve sloppified those too.

Doesn’t ESPN have exclusive broadcast rights for the next Super Bowl for the first time ever? How convenient that they’d raise their prices…
I just use gray streaming sites. Though for the live sports commentary and live updates, I do like what ESPN has for that
Boy these folks really think there’s no upper limit
