No. But the gutting of public education will.

Solar panels are cheap these days and end up paying for themselves in cost savings. Especially when you own the factory that makes them.

They’re just switching to Axon.

I’m reminded of when Phil Collins flew the concorde so he could perform at both Live Aid concerts in 1985.

I have my doubts they turned off the face scanning at MSG just for her party. And I also wonder why she thought aligning herself with this venue was such a great idea.

In my kitchen I have a replacement fridge because when I got three estimates to fix my 10 year old LG, they were all more expensive than simply buying a new one. I really tried to get it repaired because I liked my old fridge, and finding a new one that fit the space properly was going to be difficult. But the repair estimates were all more expensive than buying a new one. And the new fridge came with another 10’year compressor warranty. 🤷♂️
I won’t be surprised if after ten years this one fails too.
Also, shopping for kitchen appliances sucks because all of the brands are owned by just a handful of manufacturers now. For example, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, and Maytag are all the same company.

Depending on the repair, it can be cheaper to buy a new fridge. Most modern refrigerators aren’t designed to have their compressor easily replaced for example.

They aren’t “forced” to do anything. They are choosing to throw money down a black hole.

“The researchers compared Waymo’s nationwide crash data with New York City’s for-hire fleet and found the robotaxis had a serious injury or fatal crash rate about 1.5 times higher per mile driven.”

But block intersections way more than humans. And get stuck in flood zones way more than humans. And pass stopped school busses way more than humans.
And they still have more accidents per mile than actual taxi drivers.
