How is it that all the famous detectives in fiction seem to be autistic?

Can it be, at least in part, because their creators were autistic?

Everyone who explores them and their authors seems to be working very hard to dodge the question.

@sasutina13 Sherlock Holmes had so many autistic traits. I think most detective novels are influenced by Arthur Conan Doyle and emulate his characters, perhaps even unconsciously.

@ramin_hal9001 I have difficulty comparing Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot to Holmes. They are so different from him.

@sasutina13 @ramin_hal9001 David Suchet's Poirot had such precision to him, bordering on OCD
