Atlassian really looked at MS Word, Libreoffice Writer and the Google office thingie and went: None of these are bad enough. We're going to make the most horrible word editor in history and we're going to include it with Confluence

@schratze I have a longstanding technical gripe with confluence - you can paste markdown in to make a document, but you can't get the same markdown back to fix it
