Ah, yes, this makes sense, because it's a forum post and I was replying to myself. Replies to normal posts inherit a mention to previous participants, but replies to forum posts don't. So for this reply you should get a notification, since it's a direct reply to your post, but if for example some people start replying to each other under a forum post you created, you will not get notifications for every reply.
