Ubuntu has dropped off a cliff in Linux market share. Fedora serves as a near-replacement in UX, and there are some distros that are so optimized as “pre-configured”, they left it in the dust, to say nothing of how Canonical keeps trying to make Ubuntu worse. It used to be famously “Debian but easy”, but now just using Debian sounds like way less of a hassle.
