I think if you start your plot centering on the existential plight of a collective living in an unjust world then you should probably at least maintain that emotional thread the whole way through instead of going "anyway. the few choose for the many" right at the finish line

you know. now that I'm really thinking about it I think my core problem with Clair Obscur is probably once again "well, I played Xenoblade 3 first and it did parts of your plot way better"
