git config --global alias.ff 'merge --ff-only'

On the other news, I finally added alias for ff, which is just merge --ff-only

Still don't get why of all three ff doesn't have it's own subcommand

From Git book, chapter about aliases:

I would expect, that when you encounter usability issue fixable that easy, you open an issue and get it fixed. But apparently that's not the case when your software was designed by an engineer

Well, got my first AI MR. It's on work gitlab, so my standards are lower, but still meh

I mean, it's not _that_ bad, probably because It's really trivial feature and there's bunch of good code examples in repo, so it's basically monkey see monkey do

But it added a few absolutely useless tests and docstrings to self-documenting functons which I'm gonna strip later
