My most vivid memory of the 1999 #eclipse is that you could see it projected naturally pretty much everywhere. As such, for this one I hadn't bought special glasses or gone looking for a colander or even really thought about it until after it started. And the garden fence in the shadow of a rose bush didn't disappoint.
