WordPress.org being Matt's "personal website", running on the company's infrastructure and wp-admin on self hosted sites depending on that domain name being reachable to work at all, this could have far reaching consequences.

WP and the systems run by Automattic have been limited for literal decades because has a say in any technical decision despite allegedly not learning anything new since 2005.

@lispi314 As WordPress.org is still Matt's personal website and he's still leading the project, this requires a fork.
And a fork is impossible because the project's structure is designed with that in mind.
