I worked on web-based applications for 20 years before looking at AI for a change. I'm not a fan of the LLM frenzy but AI isn't restricted to LLMs.
I code in Ruby unless there's a good reason not to.
In 2023 I moved from an appartement in the Paris suburbs to a house with a large garden in a small rural city.
I love hiking, cooking, discovering some new tech or craft to use and relaxing or playing with my cats.

I stopped programming in C ages ago but I remember trying to use ctags on a large codebase and gave up in frustration. Maybe it is better now, but the Linux kernel codebase is huge... It wouldn't surprise me that ctags integration in an ide simply falls down on its face when working with the whole kernel repository switching between branches on the fly.
