social.freebitcoin.gayDrew DeVault (@drew@social.freebitcoin.gay)✨ weird little guys update ✨ I added two weird little guys today: Justin M. Keyes, the NeoVim developer whose crash-out over DHH inspired the list, and Jeff Geerling, popular YouTuber and anti-abortion/anti-LGBTQ activist. https://drewdevault.com/weird-guys/ I also added an RSS feed: https://drewdevault.com/weird-guys/index.xml Enjoy!

@liaizon I’m off-put by this list made by this person because he could have been on this list for 15-20 years old public posts too. The only thing separating Drew from some of his subjects seems to be the existence of a public retraction statement, which seems a little thin to me. A public retraction isn’t the only way someone can change opinions.

Still most people on this list deserve to be there, but when the offending activity is older, the legitimacy of the inclusion fades especially in comparison with the author own past behavior.

@hypolite I fully believe people have the ability to change views and to grow and shift. and saying something once on the internet shouldn't make that text represent you as a whole for the rest of your life. almost all of the people on this list I already had in my headlights for various reasons. I like that the list is called Weird Little Guys and not "list of tech fascists" and that it doesn't really outline what being on the list means.
