Codeberg pages is down, and so is the fediverse server that Codeberg's account here is hosted on. Is this a targeted attack?

So apparently unrelated which is honestly sorta weirder

@liaizon No connection. The mastodon instance social.anoxinon.de is down (hostet at Hetzner) unfortunately. Two storage-drives died simultaneously tonight and there was a fatal flaw in our backup (PostgreSQL database missing). But this is separate from Codeberg pages.

@liaizon pointed out 2 issues:
1) [EDIT: Codeberg's back up!] The main codeberg.org's down now as well as Codeberg Pages (503 Service Unavailable). #codeberg Right now, join.codeberg.org and blog.codeberg.org are working.
2) The Fediverse instance you mentioned that hosts Codeberg's account has a status message; I've attached its Firefox machine translation. It doesn't state any cause such as denial of service, except that multiple of the server's NVME (storage drives) failed.
(2) was yesterday, while (1) was just now.

@liaizon No idea but I have a feeling that the AI people are more than unhappy about the policy changes so I'd not be surprised at all if there is something more than scraping going on.

@liaizon I wondered *exactly* that a little bit earlier.

@liaizon There is more weirdness. We are running our repositories at codeberg (anoxinon.de is run via Hugo, everything is hosted via a Codeberg repo and usually from there we would then run a script and update our website). Since Codeberg has currently trouble we are unable to update our website in order to properly inform about our trouble / the outage.
