The emergency braking I understand, I’ve driven some downright paranoid vehicles with that tech.
I recently also experienced this for the first time in a rental car, some Toyota SUV-style model. Super annoying half the time, the other half it did work but I was anyway already about to break. Not sure I liked it overall.
