i’ve started recommending feddit.org (my lemmy instance) to people that i know irl, but the difficulty is the content: too much politics (especially trump and others), and not enough shitpost.

also the feddit.org controversy about israel was mostly overblown. idk, probably 1 mod’s personal views got exaggerated as “the whole platform thinks like this”
