Today I get to learn things about MSIX and WinUI3. I'm really not loving how WPF feels with a screen reader, and I don't want to use the ancient winforms.

@fastfinge I don't want to disappoint you, but from my experience WinUI3 is accessibility-wise... not happy, let's say so. Unfortunately.

@menelion I haven’t found any issues yet but I am using prism for speech output, not uia. Because I want to speak things like status changes when the app is in the system tray.

@fastfinge Prism is that library for self-voicing, right? To be honest, I find those solutions useful, but extremely niche. If something is on screen, I need it to be accessible. Like, a button is a button, a combo box is a combo box, accessible and operable via keyboard.
