1. certificates should be renewed manually
2. there should be only one person responsible for it
3. there should not be anyone else who does it
4. the person who renewes the certificates should have enough holiday days for this demanding work
5. the holydays should be arranged that that person work for two and a half months and then get half a month off. as the person did a lot of work today their next holiday period should start in the middle of november and end on the end of november.

@esm i remember seeing months ago that the developers of manjaro were trying to regain control of the project because the management of the company behind it has become such a shitshow it genuinely doesn't allow them to do even basic stuff like this. idk what even came out of that tho or if anything will come out of it at all

@esm I had calendar reminders for some websites that always forget to renew their certs, I would post on Twitter the day before with them tagged with words to the effect of: "Remember, tomorrow you will get the warning that the certificate expired for xxx." They still didn't update their certs on time
