it has to start somewhere because the system, as it currently is, is not sustainable.

either we start it ourselves in the way that’s the most beneficial to us or nature will force it upon us and it doesn’t care if it’s helps or hurt us.

i can speak from experience on this: merely having a faang company on your resume will always work to your benefit and these people are making a lot more money than any of us ever will.

none of the components are being used to assemble this self imposed panopticon sounded sinister because they were whitewashed through marketing – that same device that can keep track of your movements and who you talk to was adopted by everyone because it was marketed as a fun and convenient way to connect with friends.

i had a thought along a similar veing yesterday because i realized that the code base i’m responsible for now was originally built as a proof of concept that never got it’s bugs ironed out and a temporary solution i implemented bit me in the ass.
